A solid & sustainable marketing plan is more than just following content pillars, creating powerful client journeys, and producing consistent content. While all of these things help to support a unshakeable marketing plan, there’s something even better that we often forget.

YOU are your best marketing plan.

As I mentioned just the other day, I’m ALL about sustainable marketing that feels GOOD. Marketing that leads from your core beliefs. Marketing that always keeps your vision and values at the heart of everything you do.
 
And when you keep all those pieces in mind, it should come as no surprise then that your marketing strategy should be rooted from your life experiences, your knowledge, and your vision. But more than that, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if you have all of the marketing pieces of the puzzle together, if you refuse to get visible and show up for your business, then there’s a pretty good chance you’re not going to attract clients and lock in sales (especially when it comes to high-ticket offers).
 
Today, I want you to commit to getting visible. And to help kick you off, here’s 4 tips to incorporate to create a powerful marketing plan for your business that leads to better clients, more sales, and less work on your part:
 

1) Connect then convert.

If you pour all of your energy into constantly trying to convert folks, you’re going to do one of two things. Either you’ll turn them off (because no one wants to stay connected to a walking billboard advertisement) or they’ll tune you out (and your list will grow stale, full of folks no longer interested in what you have to say). Instead, lead with connection, be human, get vulnerable, and share from the heart. Or, even better…
 

2) Lead with your story.

Conversions happen from connection, relatability, and desirability. And the best way to do all three is to lead with your story. Connect with your audience by sharing that piece of you, become relatable by sharing your journey AND struggles to getting to where you are today, and then hit home the results and the challenges you’ve overcome to paint the picture of what’s possible for your audience as well (i.e., desirability).
 

3) Educate & attract.

We’ve all been told time and time again that educating content is critical for showcasing your expertise, but I want to also encourage you to tap into attraction marketing. Attraction marketing paints the picture for your audience, it leads with the desired outcome. And when combined together, educating content provides just enough value to get your audience hooked, while attraction marketing then showcases how your offer or service can help them achieve the desired outcome you just shared in your educational content.
